Weekly club rides

Weekly rides will start again soon in the spring. Details will be posted here and in the newsletter.


Rides are typically "show and go" rides, meaning whoever shows up will choose how far and where to ride. These rides are for ALL members. No level of riding skill is required. Wear a helmet. Children must be accompanied by an adult family member.

2019 ride dates:

May 4, 2019 - Shriner Bike Ride with the Clowns.  41 miles, start at The Owls Nest, 116 S. Court St., Ottumwa, between 8:30 and 10 AM.  Entry form and details available here.

May 11, 2019- Race for the Cure 5k/1 mile run and walk - Jimmy Jones Shelter, Ottumwa Park.

May 25-26, 2019 - Pedalers Jamboree bike ride and music festival.

June 1-7, 2019 - Ride the Fault Line. Kentucky, Tennessee, Missouri, Illinois.

June 8-9, 2019 - TOMRV - Tour of the Mississippi River Valley.  

June 9-14, 2019 - Bike Across Missouri. This year's route is Columbia to Arrow Rock.

June 17-21, 2019 - Katy Trail Ride across Missouri.

July 20-27, 2019 - RAGBRAI.  This year's route is Council Bluffs to Keokuk.

August 10, 2019- Tour de Fire. Stopping at fire departments in southeast Iowa.

August 17-18, 2019 -  Bike Van Buren - A two-day ride through the villages of Van Buren County, Iowa.

June 1, 2018. Pedaling for Pets fundraiser, Friday 7 pm,Courtside Bar & Grill, Ottumwa.

June 2, 2018. Pedaling for Pets.  Start between 9 and 10 AM from Heartland Humane Society, Ottumwa. There are three distances to choose from:  9, 27, and 48 miles.  Entry form available here.
